All things considered, Fasani did ok...

;) Yes he does look like a school boy... I think Winky's premature male pattern baldness makes him "look" more mature... You're wife said that about a football player? Sounds like she is into the game.

I don't know, as much as I like to have friendly conversation about QBs :D, If Fasani does not pan out, or maybe he does but should be #2 next season, I've had about all I can fucking take with rookie QBs. I say we do what we have to do to get a QB who finishes at least in the top 15-20 this season and bring him in to compete for the job next season. Winky and Peete will be gone, Fasani might too. Hell, we could be looking at 3 new QBs in camp.

Oh and just for laughs, what is Jeff Lewis and D. Craig doing now? Think we'll see one of those guys next week at practice?:D

If Weinke is the future, the Panthers should pack up and move to, say LA, they need an NFL squad. That game probably sealed our fate of being able to view Panther home games on TV the rest of the season.

You still can't hear Jimmy. What the fuck are you talking about? It was 30-0 on that last drive.

    >>Step up to the plate?
Everybody's having pie and coffee and all of sudden Fasini ready eat? Talk about missing the dinner bell.

Was Sandy right, for once ??

Damm, two apologies in too weeks. I can't take much more of this ! First for Moose and now for Fasani !!
    ===================================
Well it's time for the old coot to get off the Winkster's bandwagon. I have held off until he got a second chance. He had that last week and this week. I swear he looks more like Jeff Lewis than Jeff does himself. He seems to practice great (JUST LIKE Lewis), but when he gets in the game, he looks lost !!!(Just like Lewis) AAt least I WAS RIGHT about him.

Face it, Peete is not our salvation, obviously we now know that the Winkster is not (maybre somewhere else, but not here) so let's see what Fasani can do for several games. Sure can't be any worse than the WInkster is doing.

That way, we'll know about the draft.:invasion: :invasion:

Fasani barely moved the sticks in the 3rd qtr. I may be wrong, but it looked like Reeves put a lot of scrubs in on defense by the 4th qtr - and, just like preseason, Randy moved the ball against 2nd and 3rd defenders.

As a shameless Weinke apologist, I also must say that I was sickened :barf: by his so-called performance too.

I guess we really ARE in trouble. :suicide:

    >>he still showed me he has more ability than (Weinke).

I don't know about that. Running ability, yes. But he completed one of three passes. He did show some arm, and so did Weinke when he was able to actually pull the trigger. A good team has a good line and the QB stays until he has to. Can that be taught? Sure. How many years on down the road?
Both guys should have been in the 'gun. No matter what or who was throwing the ball the playcalling sucked and this offense is a joke.

I'm pretty certain we're going to be drafting someone. Weinke's fate isn't by any means sealed and I do feel he's still over Fasani if healthy, right now. There's nothing gained by overplaying RF and Weinke has not been evaluated that long. You don't evaluate a talented player in one year and two games and the same fate would belie Fasani if he plays this year as well. So if we want to throw him away, have at it.

Yeah, it might be better to keep playing Fasani until we're MATHEMATICALLY eliminated from playoffs.

Then play Fasani. We'll be starting over at QB next year, anyway.

Mags, if Weinke CONTINUES his poor play until we are mathematically eliminated, why shouldn't we play Fasani? At that point, I see no reason not to stick the rookie in there. And that's what I see happening.
