McRoberts had two senior all americans on his team last year.Sure he was at least the third option last season. If he comes back to Duke next season he will probably be option #1.NBA scouts see something special in the kid or they would'nt have him as a solid lottery pick in this years draft ahead of Redick and Sheldon Williams.Duke would miss him big time if decides to turn pro and coach K's job will be much tougher next season.

I was reading the ticker at the bottom ESPN2 at 3 in the morning, but I'm kinda drunk and really tired. I saw the end of something saying "Duke, declared for the NBA draft" I'm assuming it's McRoberts, but I could be wrong. He's said that he is returning to Duke right after the LSU game, and that is the only place i have seen anything about him leaving. I hope he doesn't leave. He has a lot to improve on (especially in the post). Zoubek better be good and hopefully Thomas chooses Duke. If UCLA wins the title I think either Love or Singler are a lock to go there for 2007. Duke needs strong post presence. After seeing Gerald Henderson (Grant Hill reincarnated :229031_ha ) and John Scheyer doing pretty well I think Duke is fine at guard with Paulus, Nelson, and Pocius on top of Scheyer and Henderson being a slasher like a Vincent Grier, but God does Duke need some post presence. The guy judging the slam dunk contest (Garfinkel) was the one who said Zoubek would be the next great center at Duke.

It would not surprise me if Beasley now takes a hard look at Duke. His high school teammate and friend Nolan Smith is heading to Duke.He may follow him now that Hill is no longer a 49er assistant.:banginghe

You should have watched the Nike vs. World game today. Ellington was as good as Henderson if not better at least today. Both are very, very good players and will be a force for their teams. Ellington is the better shooter by far with Henderson the better jumper/defender, but both have a nice offensive game, just different at a point. Scheyer didn't even belong on the same court with these kids, he may end up being another LM for your team.

Henderson will probably step right in and be the man for your team next year though or 2nd at the worst with McBob being the main focus. Nelson better work hard on his game, because Henderson may push down his minutes depending on the status of your roster and what lineup K needs on the floor, just noway Henderson doesn't get major minutes.

Your players looked like crap during the McD's. Scheyer looked good in that game.

Scheyer looked ok in that game, nothing great. Lawson and Ellington didn't shoot as well in that game, but other than that they looked really good. Wright actually looked better in that game than this one. So much for the crap part. Who knows though, Scheyer and the Z man could end up having a college career like Shav or if you are lucky one as good as Melon boy.

You really need to wake the fuck up when it comes to your dookettes you have coming in. Henderson is the real deal, but verdict is still out on the rest thus far. They have done ok on occasion, but nothing great to this point. You really have to consider who they have played against in high school.

Any word on Thomas yet? He is good, but reminds me of the former ghetto maghetto from dooks past.

Not really, it's not like the old days when you took the word of some dumbass like slybaby. All the games they play against top talent let's you know a lot more in todays game. There is just so much information and games that you get to see today that you didn't 5 or 10 years ago. Sure you will still get a miss or two or have that unexpected surprise, but for the most part you have a good idea of what you are getting.
