hey back during the 50's San Francisco won back to back titles, that doesn't make it current events instead of ancient history. Neither does what you did in any March before this one.

Currently your team is a shambles coached by a hasbeen trying to live off the glory of what he used to be, and you're here trying to convince us that just because your team was once relevant come tourney time it should still be.

 

Speaking of choke jobs, how's that gal's team of your doing?

 

I think Roy clearly showed it passed him by long ago when he went to the NIT. If not for Doh, we wouldn't even be talking about Roy. I mean the best he can do with his own recruited players is an elite 8? What a joke. K will be back. Roy never was.

And newsflash, Duke without a key player barely lost to the same team your team struggled to beat at full strength. Duke beat the team that just knocked your suck ass team out of the tourney. UNC didn't even play VCU but judging by Georgetown VCU would have beat them. UNC can only score 2 points in 5 minutes of overtime.

 

Pot meet kettle. Choking in the elite 8 is hardly a shining example of relevance.

Keep telling yourself K will be back....it'll help you get through these tough times until Duke hires itself a real coach to return it to the glory days he can no longer lead you to.

If only they gave out National Championships for such achievements, then Duke might sniff another one in your lifetime.

What makes you think Roy will ever win a championship on his own?

Given the respective records of the two, K is far more likely to be back than Roy will ever win one on his own. K has a history of coming back and winning again after all does he not?

Roy doesn't have anything to hang his hat on.

 

Nor is UNC , which is why you have to officially retire the bandwagon, tear up your honorary alumni card, and go back to your mundane life tomorrow.

K's time has come and gone. It was a good run. He did a lot. I just wish he'd have shown an ounce of class at any point during his tenure, but we can't have everything.
