    I had my misgivings when I first heard about it, but it could be done right. They really need Ahnold and Ripley for it, though.

    it would be interesting, i think, if they could pull off alien vs predator without putting humans in there. granted, it would be difficult, but i think it would awesome if it could work. of course, there'd be a severe lack of dialog as well, but that's sorta the charm of these two baddies -- they don't make wise-cracks and talk you to death, they're silent killers.

    from what i've seen, they've gone a bit overboard with the cg. maybe i'm confusing things, but wasn't there a scene with thousands of creatures all running around a big ziggurat? alien was great because it was just one tough creature. if there's thousands of aliens, then i'm sure they'll be dying throughout the whole movie -- which diminishes how baddass they started out. one on one would be awesome, tho i dunno how it would end -- which would win?


    x3 should be good. x2 was on tv last night. pretty well done flicks -- very watchable.

    I was reading in an article that this will be done as a prequal to the other Alien movies. It said that the action will take place in the Artic I believe. They are doing this because in Alien it was supposed to be the first time any humans had see the Alien. So I guess that means that all the humans in the movie get it. The premis of the movie is that these scientist are doing some digging in the artic and happen upon some Alien embryos or eggs. Well of course the Alien is going to check this out, and the Predator had been hunting the Alien so he shows up too and then all hell breaks loose. These guys working on the movie are wanting to get back to the feel of the original Alien and Predator movies. They talked about the problems of the sequals and wanted to avoid that. They even mentioned not having a bunch of Aliens running around becasue it takes away from the movie.

    Whose interested? I personally think it will be kinda cool. I'd put my money on the predator. badass mofro with high-tech alian brain!
