    Alexander had more man love than I was prepared to deal with.

    I don't think they shaved their asses in those days, so there goes your historical accuracy.

    Colin Farrel sucked. Instead of coming across as one of the greatest conquerers of ancient times, he comes off as a whiny fag. I understand he was the 4th or 5th choice, due to the all the gay parts. I would have love to see this movie redone with Tom Hanks or Russell Crowe, minus the gay stuff, or at least toned down. I have no problem with homosexuality, just don't need to see it.

    I am not sure about Tom Hanks as Alexander. Crowe would have been good. I would have liked to see this film done by Mel Gibson too.

    Finally got around to watching this tonight. It was long. And although I'm OK with bouncing back and forth for backstory, I grew weary of this one in the end. Makes me want to do some research of my own, though.
