Oh I know, he was just so adamant about it and said it so many times. I guess the only thing that bothers me about it is he didn't tell Huizenga face to face he was leaving. The owner laid out the red carpet for him, paid him more than he was worth and pretty much let him run the show. You would think that would at least merit a face to face with his decision.

they met yesterday. Anyone know for sure if it wasnt a mutual agreement that a phone call was all that was needed? Just listened to WH and didnt comment about it nor did he sound pissed about not meeting face to face.

OK, I retract that. The ESPN story said they met this morning as opposed to the CBS Sportsline story that said he didn't show up for the meeting with Huizinga. I'll take the ESPN version.

If he beats Auburn twice they will chain him to his desk.

You might as well give up on Jimbo. He'll be headed with Saban.

Don't really know why Saban is any worse than any of the other coaches in the NFL or college. I'm not even an Alabama fan and I thought the ESPN article was a little harsh.

I guess starving sportswriters get a little jealous when people make lots of money. Be sure not to ever change jobs or not tell your employer you might leave when you're looking for a new one.
