Did I miss a thread about Alabama's new coach? what do you think of the new hire? You think he'll stay there (assuming he does well) like he said? What happened to Riley?

I like Price. He will bring a pass oriented offense to Alabama and use Brodie Croyle like he should be used. The guy has a cannon for an arm. As far as Price staying at Alabama? Only time will tell. Hopefully he can handle the pressure. Fannochio couldnt, that is one of the main reasons he left. Mike Riley, he screwed up and now he is still in New Orleans.

Riley's dumbass put Bama on hold to talk to UCLA. Then he didn't get either job. :lol2:

I’d seriously consider Beard in round 2.

He might be around after round 2. He has the 'steal of the draft' potential.

I'd target Lee Suggs, Onterrio Smith and then Beard in the 2nd.
I'd target Cecil Sapp or Avon Cobourne in round 3.

Oh, and 1 guy that could really shake up the top of the board could be Greg Jones. He would go quite high in this draft IMO.
No real talk about him declaring although he probably should.

There is talk about Beard going undrafted which is pretty silly. You dont average 6 yards a carry in the SEC and go undrafted.

Size may give some teams pause, but that's it. And he's not Warrick Dunn. Trung mabe, but not Dunn.

He's a first day pick at least.

I hope Price stays and does well.

As far as Beard, I'd rather have him than Johnson. Any Penn State guys scare me, and especially one named Larry Johnson. ;) Not that we'll have a shot at him anyway.
