Alabama RB arrested on drug charges

this crap happens everywhere.


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama tailback Ray Hudson was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Hudson was found with a small amount of marijuana when members of the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a Tuscaloosa residence last week, Capt. Jeff Snyder told The Tuscaloosa News Wednesday.

‘‘It was an amount that would indicate personal use,’’ Snyder, the task force commander, told the newspaper. He said it’s not unusual for an arrest to be made days after a raid and wouldn’t say if it was Hudson’s residence.

Hudson, 22, was released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail Wednesday on a $1,000 bond.

Snyder did not immediately return a message left by The Associated Press Wednesday evening.

Alabama spokesman Larry White also could not immediately be reached.
Hudson is second on the team in rushing, gaining 405 yards on 83 carries.

 

Just Wondering . .

How come when this happens in the collegiate ranks, folks will continue to support their school BUT if it happens with NBA players, they are a bunch of thugs and a reason not to watch the games anymore (see former Charlotte Hornets) ? ?

 

Well, that was the Hornets. A football team loses the support of some pansy because of crap like that and they barely notice he's gone. Its all about numbers, baby.


Yawn. This isn't news. A freaking nickle bag the kid probably had half a semester.

Because usually the ownership of the school doesn't demand my tax dollars for a new arena.

The players are just the icing on the cake so to speak. The real reason for the Hornets hatred is everyone resented the owner.
