Baltimore added a tone of talent but realistically where would you think they will finish. 4th New York IMO, will win the division but lose to Boston in route to the World Series. Boston has a awesome threesome in Schilling, Pedro and Lowe. In a series when only 3 starters go Boston IMO has a clear advantage. That and New York is screwed if Kevin Brown gets injured AGAIN. Relying on Contrese and Jon Lieber is shakey at best. If Baltimore were in the central they would win I bet.

if this group of teams didn't play each other so much, i'd predict all teams over .500. hell, they all be be + .500!! i smell a yankee let down, a bosox about the same, the bluejays to challenge for 1st and baltimore to challenge with all of the above for 2nd. tampa will be surprisingly strong under 2nd year pinella. this will be the most competitive division, bar none.

i agree. those 4 teams could win just about any other division. the rays are no pushover any more. they have some good young talent. the unbalanced schedule is gonna bite all these teams in the ass.

with that said, i like the sox.
