UNC will whip State's ass. I hate UNC, love State, that ain't gonna happen.

 

It's sarcasm or something like that. There is no doubt in my mind that UNC will beat State.

 

I did not see the game nor the deciding Akron TD, but looking at that pic, it would appear to me his elbow would have hit the turf before crossing the goal line....BUT...

YOU ARE NC FRIGGIN STATE, A TEAM IN A MAJOR D-1 CONFERENCE FACING AKRON, A TEAM FROM THE MAC.

IT SHOULD NOT HAVE COME DOWN TO A LAST SECOND PLAY TO DECIDE IT.


Until NC State starts blowing people away that they should blow away, they will NEVER be a major player in college football. How that will happen? I don't know. I do know there is a long way to go for them to get there, but they CAN do it. But Chuck might not be there when they do.

my point being, it never should have been a final play to decide the game. I do not think it is unrealistic for NC State to one day be in the conversation for national title picture, not by a long shot. But close wins, or late second losses to the Akron's of the world won't cut it.

 

It's evident that NCSU isn't near that level now and going in the wrong direction. Solarte has something against the school though.
