How about a few names to choose from? Price and who else?

Muhsin's not terribly easy to cut, and he's been somewhat productive when both healthy and he's had a QB who could get more than one ball to a receiver in a game. I'm not against a FA and a pick, but Muhsin's here next year.

    Key words:

    "somewhat"

    "when healthy"

I know it's not popular to hate on our only "somewhat productive" WR but you guys have got to agree that the drops, the hammy problems, and his lack of speed do not reflect what Moose has been paid (or what he's about to be paid especially).

I think it was you magnus who convienced me with one of you posts that at best Moose has become a good possession receiver . . . aren't those a dime a dozen?

Me, dump Moose, sign Price, Engram, Stokely, and draft a WR at either 1 or 2. Pray we have enough left to sign Davis if he's cut or Mack and a pick in the top 3 rounds.

Hey, I'm not a genius like the rest of you but I can look at a FA list and see plenty of guys who would not cost 6 mil a year, who do not have chronic hammys or the dropsies, and can run at LEAST a little faster than Moose. Do you really think that only Price would be an improvement over Moose? Maybe I'm not the only non-genius here after all. )

Any of the players above would cost 6mil if they also were entering the 3rd yr of a contract of which was signed after on helluva year..... make sense?

Anybody think Moose gets 6 mil anywhere else if he's cut? Nah, didn't think so.

My point is that 3years ago he'd have got it from almost any team IMO.

no, not really. You don't buy a guy and say "well this is his role on the team."
If that were possible, we certainly wouldn't have what we have.

And no, I seriously don't see us actually going out and getting anyone better than him.
