    * marcus robinson, wr, chicago -- hates it over there and wants nothing more than to make the pro bowl with another team. the bears are seeking nothing more than probably a fifth-round pick for him.

    * stephen davis, rb, washington -- spurrier is phasing him out. he's got fewer carries and yards so far this season than he has in any year since 1998. he's still got something to prove and needs a better o-line to do it with.

Robinson has a few injury concerns, but I'd gladly take Davis.

5th for Robinson's not bad. Injuries?

I'd like to look at Richie Anderson, who had 88 rec as a Jet under Henning. Decent H-back type who could obviously work as a FB as well but wouldn't be the punch of Neal or Konrad.

Ed Mulitalo wouldn't be bad at G. zach Pillar has the raw size. Couple of guys I've been thinking about.

Davis? $? Otherwise, he's damn well perfect. He's got moves similar to Foster, lacks some of the speed but that's not necessary with us. Has more size.

from what i've read, robinson's legs are totally healthy.

here's the catch: by taking a $1 million pay cut, the bears agreed that if robinson got more than 35 receptions this season, he'd be an unrestricted free agent. he's got 20 right now. no way he sees another 16 passes thrown his way.

he's also from south carolina, right?

I think he is. And he's big but certainly not slow.
I'm down with it. I'd take him. Davis is local as well.

    So's Shawn Bryson.

How bad are the Ravens next year cap wise if anyone knows?

And Marcus Robinson.... yeah I'd give a 5th for him. Great size and speed... talk about a compliment to Moose.

Raghib Ismail - $4 mill next year. And he's certainly not worth keeping at that price when you consider Bryant. Not noteworthy other than that we run a lot of deep stuff and the front office and receivers coach are all still here from 1998.

I dunno how the Ravens are cap-wise. Mitchell and Del Rio are ins on him.

Davis Spartenburgh High grad, too dumb to get in Clemson so went to Auburn. I have always loved Bryson, but comes with injury baggage

Who else here would not give a rat's ass if Moose and his chronic hammy and his nasty cap hit and his next potential impending off the field incident were not around next year???
It seems like there are going to be a LOT of WR FA options out there and we could probably get TWO good healthy ones for less than Moose is currently slated to make.
