Adam Morrison

They have only lost two games at 9-2, but they are 2-0 vs. the major conference of the ACC. So their SOS is very close, so not all that bad for a mid-major team with a player who isn't any where near as good as JJ. :imagestor

JJ should be better

JJ should be better Duke's name alone could get anyone to play basketball, Gonzaga has not been that big of name except the past 5 years. And to say that Gonzaga has not played anybody is bull crap. The played in the miniNCAA tournment know as the Maui this year and came close to beating the real #1 team UCONN after a playing a game and a half against Mich St. And then to beat OKState at Gilligar(sp?) Iba arena which is one of the most difficult places to play.

 

Should be and is. And if you think Gonzaga has only been around for 5 years you must be a pimply faced brat.

 

Let me know when you can come up with some facts that seperate and show some major difference between the two. Overall the stats in comparison to the competition and how each team is made up favor Morrison.

This kid sounds like an idiot. Even UNC fans have been complimenting (more like commenting I guess) on how J.J. has increased his game and has taken a lot more shots to the hole. You act like the players surrounding Morrison suck, and Redick will be the #1 scorer in ACC history (not just at Duke) by the end of this season. Troy Bell will only have higher but he played in the Big East. If Gonzaga loses tonight they are 2-3 against ranked teams. You might be playing a lot of ranked teams, but you are losing them also. Duke also has the #1 RPI. If you are comparing Duke's complete season schedule with Gonzaga then you are a joke. Gonzaga is at the hardest part of its schedule and they are still ranked below Duke in the SOS. Gonzaga's cinderella runs go back to at least 10 years before Mark Few was even coaching there. In fact, the teams in the 90's had far more tournament success at Gonzaga than the teams in the 2000's who were highly ranked. Sure Morrison has played a lot of ranked teams now, but guess who is the hardest team he has left to play on his entire schedule, Stanford. People tend to remember who turned it on in February for National Player of the year. Morrison is the more complete player, but the more complete player doesn't necessarily win the award. Morrison will suffer by playing in a bad conference. And am I the only one who just heard a Morrison backer saying that he looks like a child molester?

wow isn't it funny how a bunch of grown men can argue about something so small I didthis knowing that most people are huge Duke fans and Gonzaga is a smaller college and morrison won't be in that many huge games becuase of the mountian west conf. But it is not his fault, if he was that huge of a player he would have been scouted by a bigger powerhouse team, not to say that Gonzaga isn't a power house which they have slowy started to become. Yes JJ is good but no one new that much about Morrison before this year, JJ was good last year. And to say that he should be a better player because he is a foward but JJ is a shooting guard. So that comment is just stupid and that guy should be banned from talking, typing, and thinking.

 

As stated above, I compared schedule to date with stats to date. You better watch what you say about Morrison being the more complete player or you could have a sly crawling up your ass. :imagestor
