ACC Tournament

I thought the light rail was stupid, overpriced and a terrible idea.

It's a good way to get into downtown though, especially the parking situation being what it is.

Do they have round-trip tickets yet, though? The Stevie Wonder concert was slightly killed by having to wait 20+ min to buy tickets after the show. It's fun watching people fumble with money while trains leave half-full because no one can buy a ticket.

It was also fun watching people jump on without a ticket and get home faster (although they are cutting down on that.)

I have high hopes for the light rail in the long run though and hope they continue building on the system.

If Duke makes it to Sunday, I have tix to go.

So, for you Clt people......where do i need to park? If i take the Rail, what station should i use?

I plan on taking my 4yr old daughter....so whats the easiest way to get to the Arena?

Right. I imagine you're more worried about it than him, especially if it's a Duke UNC rematch.

 

Not worried at all. I was actually only kidding. The Clemson/Dook matchup should be a good one. The only bad thing about that game is that one team will actually win. I'd prefer another UNC/dook game to settle things once and for all for this season. If they meet again in the NCAA's, there's a chance for a 2-2 tie, which I don't want to happen.
I have to say, though, that I really don't look forward to another Clemson matchup potentially. They have had the Tarheels number this year and we have gotten lucky to come out with a W in those games. It's very difficult to beat a team 3 times in the same year - especially when they are such tough games.

The ACC tournament title would be another big game for dook and we know how dook approaches (and plays in) big games, so I'm not worried one bit if it comes down to UNC/dook.

 

Please do not jinx Clemson by looking ahead to a matchup that might not happen. I know they should clobber BC, but this is Clemson. It's not like we need any help losing in the ACC tourney.

What happened to you? You used to be such a prick. You go to the doc and get some meds? Congrats. Anyway, Duke did pretty good in 3 of those National Championships with K coaching. I hope it is Duke/UNC, although there's no way I'll be able to pull for the Holes in any game leading up to it. That would be the ultimate rematch for a #1 seed and probably a #1 seed for both if Duke won it.
