Thanks for trying sly, but I actually did mean groves, although temporary when dook is winning. They all come out and stand together like they have been there forever. It was amazing how few dook fans there were after the players lost from last year, so many were worried about the young dook team. Now that dook hasn't lost yet and is #1 you hear all the dookies coming out again. I work in a building with about 500 people and not one dook fan before the season. Now you see them all over the place since Christmas.

Granted I have seen more UNC fans this year as well, but I figure about 95% of who post here and out on the street in real life pull for whoever wins.

This one guy that works in my department was a Rams fan from way back, but now this year he pulls for the Falcons for some reason. Rams are getting worse and the Falcons are on the rise......nah....that couldn't be it!

I'm here when my boys when or lose. But, I do feel like this season in the ACC is gonna be a war for everybody. My Heels aren't going to fare as well with May's absence. With May they are top 3 in the ACC, without him it could be middle of the pack. BTW, losing 3 of your top 6 players can definitely cause major problems in a one game setting like the IONA game. That aint an excuse, that's a fact.

hey, i said you guys had a legit excuse. Now, whether or not carolina is top 3 with may is a different story. Right now, the acc has 3 undefeated teams. I think wake is legit. Clempsun might be as well. Plus, you've got state, maryland and UVA. Since uva isn't ranked 4th in the nation, they'll be alright this year.

For the first time in a while teams don't have an automatic 4 losses in the acc be it duke and maryland, or duke and carolina. I'm really looking forward to conference play. And it wouldn't surprise me at all to see clempsun pull out a win on sunday.
