    2005 RPI Ratings

    Santa Clara #66
    UNC #79
    Charlotte #126
    Rutgers #207

UNC got beat by Santa Clara , Charlotte got beat by Rutgers...(

All UNC would gain by playing Charlotte would be a considerable drop in RPI

btw, the rpi rating doesnt include Charlottes loss to Rutgers or UNC's win over BYU...

So UNC will climb and Charlotte will drop even more....

This is beyond stupid. If you're gonna run smack, at least understand the tools you're using.

There are only 3 from NC - and UNCC was not in the running for any of them. And the comment of "this area" pertained to the Charlotte area, as that is what we were discussing. Of course, that assumes that you are able to read, which I am beginning to think is a pretty dicey assumption.

    whats not to understand ??

The RPI formula is 1/4*(Winning Percentage) + 1/2*(Opponents' Average Winning Percentage) + 1/4*(Opponents' Opponents' Winning Percentage)

Dear lord, it's one thing to be a board troll, but another entirely to be a dumb as rock one.

Go Central Florida, the #2 team in the country!

The only assumption I can make is that you are a smartass and a dumbass with nothing better to do than post on a Niner message board.

I never stated anything about "this area" being the "Charlotte area". Anyone who thinks UNCC only recruits in the Charlotte area, well, they are a dumbass.

Yes, very true, we probably weren't in the running for those three and UNC wants to keep it that way. That is the point I'm trying to get through your thick skull there Einstein.

Once again, I can't say that I blame you guys, there is more in it for us than you. That's the great american way, look after yourself first and foremost. :xyzthumbs

Oh yay, the season is only a couple of weeks old and we are already whining about how people shouldn't post on this forum. I post in pretty much all of the forums on TBR - this one included.

Can someone explain to Barry that the reason we were limiting the discussion to the Charlotte area is because that is pretty much the only area where UNCC and UNC would clash over a recruit (and that hasn't even happened).

I don't care how much you post here, I just find it curious. I guess I can't imagine myself posting on a Tarheel messageboard.

Can someone explain to VP that he is making my point? The Tarheels want to keep it this way.
