Fever, one of my best friends (about 10 years younger than me) died at Duke after surgery. I was in NY City at the time of the surgery, but we were going to watch the ACC tournament together, and then he was going to come work for me at the AKC as a network administrator. He came through surgery fine, but had complications after - and no brain activity. They were replacing blood connections in his neck. Tim was HUGE basketball fan, even though he was a Virginia Tech grad. RIP.

Duhon hasn't been that great this year, and Sanders has been losing his minutes to Sheldon. Hopefully, they'll both be on the court when we need size.

I'd like to buy-out the remainder of Horvath's scholarship.

Jones has played very well - not a Battier, but better by far than I'd expected.

If Randolph eats and works-outs out over the Summer, Deng is as advertised, Duke will be ok...

Horvath was Mr. basketball in the great state of Minnestoa. So was Adam Boone. I think Ventura should ban high school athletics all together.

At Duke. His wife was/is the sweetest woman in world, and absolutely gorgeous. While they weren't an "equal match", he was a heck of a lucky guy.

Oh I see, I thought maybe he was there for treatment after having surgery elsewhere.

He was born with a defective ticker & other medical ailments. Resilient little guy, though. Duke usually gets the difficult cases, and I understand why they call it the "practice" of medicine.
