i say "we" all the time when im talking about the team i cheer for. when im talking about a "guard" im talking about anyone who plays outside. when i use the term "forward" im talking about post players. thats just how i see it. guards play outside, forwards play inside. i hate the technical crap. i wouldnt say zoubek sucks. he's decent. yes he sucks for his size. he can get rebounds and some occasional blocks if it's against a short guy. you're right. the 3 is "usually" the most athletic player on your team. but since duke doesnt have many "athletes" singler plays the 3. i consider him a guard this year because duke has no other options. scheyer is going to play 37-38 mins a game. nolan will play 33-34. dawkins will spell both of them at times. and after that who do you have ? the only option is singler. no hes not gonna play point. but i guarantee you at some point in the season you will see him at 2. if im not mistaken, i seen scheyer singler thomas plumlee and czyz in the game with about 5 mins left against uncc. i could be wrong though. i know singler cant play center. it was evident last year. i was being sarcastic. he took a beating from trying to guard big guys. lebron and carmello are both sf's. every time you see their starting lineups for their respective teams, that's what their listed as. i think its stupid to categorize players between sg and sf. because like i said, it doesnt really matter. look it up on the internet, mj had 4 mvps from the sf position. but he also played both spots. because they're not very different. thats what im trying to say. do not think i don't know very much about basketball. because you're wrong if you assume that. i can tell you know what you're talking about. i respect your opinions. i guess we'll agree to disagree.

I don't need to. Michael Jordan played shooting guard. Scottie Pippen played small forward.

During his last two I know for a fact the starting lineup was PG Harper, SG Jordan, SF Pippen, PF Rodman, C Longley

It's hard to pick against Kansas and Michigan State this early, somebody from the Big East will be there I'm leaning towards Syracuse, and I really like Tennessee even though they lost tonight.

I would say that Nolan Smith has a fairly decent mid-range shooting game. Mason Plumlee may be back around January or so from what I heard. The depth has basically switched on Duke's squad. Last year they were guard oriented. This year Duke is forward oriented. They still have the 3 point threat with Dawkins, Smith, Singler, & Scheyer. I have even watched Czyk knock down some 3's along with Kelly. All in all, the ACC should be an interesting conference. I hope my Duke boys will win it all, but as always in the ACC it is definitely going to be another year of knocking each other off week after week. Least I don't have to watch Paulus and feel sorry because the kid gave great effort, but just as he has done this year for Syracuse football, he tries to do way too much and bring the team on his shoulders everytime he's in the game.

i always considered mj a sg too. it's just i've always heard arguments from both sides. tennessee has a ton of weapons. they just play inconsistent. there's just something about michigan state that makes me think they're not very good. im not sure what it is. i felt the same way last year. i still haven't figured out how they got to the championship. im thinking being in detroit helped them against uconn. sure didnt against unc though. i'd say kansas will make it but they're going to have to start playing better. it'll help when they get morningstar back. syracuse looks good, especially after that early defeat to a cupcake school. and of course i want duke to be there. i think they actually have a chance this year. but if they play another slashing guard team like villanova, they'll be going home early again. and i expect kentucky to be there in the end. they have a ton of talent and they have better shooters than i thought. once they learn how to play defense together and in calipari's system, they'll be one of the best IMO.
