OK....the almighty Collin has spoken....ya'll shut up now before he starts smearing everyone with a negative psycho-babble. He's right, we're all wrong.

    We're not worthy.. (sigh)..

I, for one, thought going with the negative proof-type question @ post 242 was awesome.

But I consider it to be more VP-esque, given the recent intelligent design thread, than Thelt-like. The Thelt-like part is refusing to give up and repeating the same shit over and over while thinking it will make a difference.

In the simpliest of terms it's about inventory of games. The money to be had is in the TV contracts. The way to gain an increase in rights fees is to control more of the available content, ie games. Expansion creates more content that is rights controlled by the conferences.

The rights to non-conference home games, say an OSU at Miami game are controlled by the home conference. Increasing the # of teams increases not only the the inventory of conference matchups but also non-conference games.

Hey, you never answered my question about why UConn isn't already invited to the ACC if the conference supposedly wanted them.

Let me add that not only did I address your post Collin, but I did it in the very post you quoted.

While I'm sure some folks here got it, it just occurred to me that your dumbass didn't get it. I hope this helps.

Humor me and answer it again, then. Why isn't UConn in the ACC if the conference really wanted them?
