Nah, let them stay with their part time conference.

It's money, market, academics, etc. I honestly don't care what the order is or what percent some of it may play into the decisions, but it's there.

Can you stop with the bait for just one thread that has to do with anything ACC or UNC related?

NBC needs to ask for a refund. The Irish have a huge fanbase, but they lose interest after a couple of losses each season.

lol, don't be naive. This current round of expansion is much, much larger than the ACC and your adopted Tar Heels. It affects schools not even in the BCS. I feel the same with regard to every other BCS conference, that everything is driven by money and it's wrecking college football as we know it. No, I'm not "baiting" as you so eloquently stated, just voicing an opinion that the almighty dollar trumps academics these days. There's a reason some schools cheat.

I'm actually pretty sure it will get extended. Notre Dame still gets pretty strong ratings because it does have a national following, and NBC doesn't really have any alternatives since all the major conferences have been locked up by other networks.

I have to agree with Collin. That's why I feel pretty safe that WVU will never be in the ACC.

It's all about creating interest. Notre Dame would be a huge feather for the ACC if that were to ever happen. UConn looks like team #15, so it's just a matter of time for #16 to be announced. ACC & SEC are going to 16 teams pretty quick.

Not so sure about that. The SEC can't even find a viable 14th (which is why I was surprised they turned down WVU), and there's no real incentive for Notre Dame to make a commitment to anyone now.
