    Probable based on the matchups:

    Iowa vs. FSU FSU
    OSU vs. Duke Duke
    Penn State vs. Clemson Clemson
    Maryland vs. Indiana Toss-up
    UNC vs. Illinois UNC
    Tech vs. Minnesota Tech
    Northwestern vs. NCSU NCSU
Wake Forest vs. Wisconsin Wake Forest
    Michigan State vs. Virginia Virginia

I think the Heels will have some problems at ILLI. Once again my boys get the toughest draw in this damned challenge. I do think the ACC will win this thing though. I wonder why dook isn't playing Indiana though? That seems more reasonable based on last year. The Heels should be playing a cupcake outa that conference based on last year. Oh well it will be fun anyway.

I don't know how it is determined. I would have loved to get revenge against Indiana but i guess they would love to get revenge against Maryland.

    Illinois-UNC

Tar Heels will be the first big test for my boys. Yeah, we beat Lehigh, Western Carolina and Ark. Pine Bluff by an average of something like 38 points. But UNC looks tough - fast, smart and savvy.

From what I've read about my boys (since there is no College Hoops package on cable that I know of), we have a solid mix of youth and veteran leadership - and Brian Cook is back after sitting out 2 games for playing in an unsanctioned summer tournament. Watch for Dee Brown to match up strong against Felton.

Should be a fun one to watch.

Ohio State was 23-7 last year. Don't know who they lost but that is nothing to sneeze at.

I believe the teams are matched up based on where they end up in the preseason conf. predictions. I'm pretty sure it used to be that way although it may have changed now though. Does that seem right based on the matchups? I'm not up on my college hoops yet - all I know is that Penn State absolutely blows.

How could it come down to preseason predictions if the Heels were picked 7th? I know ILLI is better than 7 in the Big10.

Yeah, I just went looking for it too. Couldn't find a damn thing on any of the sites I went to either. :(

I'd swear that's the way they did it at the start though.

OSU looked bad against an equally sucking Alabama the other night. I think they had some injuries though. FSU is bringing one home to the ACC. I'm still stumped on why UNC plays Illi as well. I guess we didn't need to kick Penn St. ass again.
