    That's an ironic statement, considering how much time so many of these State fans spend trying to dig up dirt on Butch Davis and UNC. I only read Pack Pride once in a blue moon, but every time I do, it takes about 5 seconds to find a thread dedicated to bashing everything about UNC.

    I am about to send a son to NC State and have always supported them and UNC ( I know that's strange) but they have the worst defense I have seen since some of the bad Dook teams of years past. Some of the players will get better because they are playing as true freshmen, but it's ugly. They can't cover a receiver and can't tackle a running back. I don't know how they can hold anyone under 40 points.

    What did you think a message board was? A place where people praise other teams and never have anything bad to say about other programs/coaches/players.

    Sidney?

    The only coach I can compare Sidney Lowe to is Matt Doherty. Former player turned coach at their alma mater.

    Similiar records:
    Matt Doherty 53-43 (23-25 ACC)
    Sidney Lowe 52-46 (15-33 ACC)

    Of course, we know how the Matt Doherty thing worked out for UNC. They quickly fired him after 3 seasons, hired a good coach, & won 2 National Titles. Probadly State needs to do the same thing. Fowler doesn't have a good track record so far.
