In Coach Smiths last few years his opponents would have loved for him to have used the four corners more. His teams were in the top 10 in scoring & most of the time from running the other team into the ground

of course it's terribly flawed becasue Dean PROVED he could adapt by taking teams to final fours in four different decades - winning a title in 93 after everyone was saying the game had passed him by. Beating the mighty K like a drum on a regular basis - he won without a shot clock and won with it - he won without a three point line - lobbied against it - then adapted and won his title in 93 letting Donald Williams chuck up threes all game. and he walked away from one of his best teams assuring Guthridge would start off a success.

You can try all day and night to discredit what Smith did but it will never hold water. If you want to play the "look at all the talent he had, all the final fours he went to, all the #1 teams and ACC Champs but only won it all twice so he is over rated" bull shit you better write the same in Coach Krap's biography - because there ain't that much difference between two versus three titles.

That's like saying "if there wasn't a three point line, K wouldn't have won as many games".

    Don't be stupid.
