Notably, however, between now and August of 2009 there will be certain attrition due to nfl departures, medical hardships, qualification/discipline issues and/or transfers from 3rd/4th year players who have not yet cracked the 2-deep that will cause more scholarships to be available.

No need for a fullback for 2009.

Results: AJ Blue (and RB/SS prospect Hunter Furr) fit the "athletic" RB mold the staff was seeking perfectly, and true tailback JR Rhodes rounds out this position nicely.
