i know what happened tonight, but i can't talk about it just yet.

    it's a surprising twist though.

i should be able to talk in about an hour -- i hope.

    that's partially true.

miami and VT will get invites. spot no. 12 will be held open for the irish.

that makes the ACC a heck of a good football and basketball conference, if the schools join. it also makes the big east a basketball-only conference.

i can't see notre dame joining up with the ACC over the big ten (11) if both offers were on the table, though.

I am not so sure about the be being just a b ball league, they could invite a few all sports teams from cusa, and then cusa
get some b ball teams from the be, but who really knows

the bottom line here is Swofford is a giant rectum and I hope the NCAA stays in tact after the BCS contract expires. If these so called 60 BCS football schools quit the NCAA as rumored, it will be a travesty.

I understand it is eat or be eaten, but somewhere some ethics have to come into play.

like they said, the ncaa is just a volunteer organization.

i think the big 60 should break away -- at least for football. let's be honest, none of the schools outside of the big conferences are going to play for a football title, so why bother including them in the mix?

It really doesn't matter how this whole thing shakes out. PITT will always rule and other schools will continue to try to imitate and emulate and be content to sit back and masturbate.
