that's what i've heard. the acc wised up and did the vote-taking away from the spotlight. plus, the big east has been pressuring BC to tell them WTF is up. the big east doesn't want to expand with the 4 c-usa teams, then lose BC. too much egg on the face.

acc would come out mighty freaking strong with this move.

Accept an invitation to join the ACC tomorrow. As reported in the NYTimes.

I like it, I think. I guess between them and Syracuse, you get a better football program but not the better basketball team. Either way, it somewhat wraps up a true atlantic coast and not just the SEC Far East.

Go ahead and grab Pitt and the 'Cuse and make it 14 teams and finish the Big East off. Two seven team divisions with one permanent and two rotating opponents from the other division on the schedule (9 games). You'd only be playing one more conference game than you are now. In hoops, home and home in the division and one game each against the other division (19 games). That still leaves you the flexibility to schedule nonconference rivals, but it will cut back on the creampuffs on your schedule.

Pitt should get the Big 10 to try and take them in. Re-name the conference to the Mid-12 or something and then they (The Big 10)can get a title game too.

Oh and good move for BC :)

even if they did -- you'd have to register to receive email advertisements and advertisements sent to your house just to read it.
