Ok.

 

I suppose it's the same reason most mobile QBs "would make a good WR" (or on occasion safety) but Tebow is too big and slow to be a WR so he moves to TE. Frankly I think he'll be crappy at anything but QB. Or it's pundits hedging their bets knowing they'll get killed if they say that he has no place in the league and he succeeds but still want to say they think he sucks now they can say "He's a shitty QB but he could still play..."

 

In that case, I don't know why they just can't say something like "he'd make a quality back-up QB". There's this irrational urge to move him as far away from QB as possible. And, somehow, Derek Anderson was a terrible starting QB yet he 's seen as a valuable back-up, but that same logic can't be applied to a guy like Tebow who actually accomplished something as a starting QB. It's just fascinating to me. Meanwhile guys like Blaine Gabbert and Kevin Kolb keep getting chances to be starting NFL QB's even though they clearly suck.

 

That's when you know bigotry is at play. If someone wants to argue that Tebow should just be a backup then I can deal with that. It's people insisting he shouldn't play quarterback at all that annoy me.

 

Especially when the media is almost trying to will Jamarcus Russell back into a job.

Youtube has failed me by not having the arrested development clip where GOB says he needs the company publicist to spin away a murder accusation for him. Fuck you internet.

 

There's a lot of great clips that aren't on youtube that need to be on youtube. People are more interested in using youtube for self aggrandizing these days.
