SLU is ranked #197 (losses to WVU, Arizona, and Georgia Tech)
Houston is ranked #120 (losses to East Tennessee, Rice and UTEP)

SLU's losses all a hell of a lot more quality than Houston's, but Houston ranked way ahead. Now, the other:

Marquette is ranked #90 (beat Notre Dame, lost to Arizona)
Southern Miss is ranked #102 (beat ??, lost to Murray St, Ark. St)

Marquette has good win, good loss, while USM has no good wins and two questionable losses, and they are about even.
