    That's what I thought. Thanks, Dukey. :)

Interesting perspective, though. In that regard, it seems as though Islam teaches the same kind of reincarnation. I could be mistaken, though. I need to read more of the Qur'an. :)

If you don't mind me asking, what prompted you to go to a hypnotist? Did you have some kind of flashback?

Yeah. I was pondering that, but couldn't quite find the words. Thanks, Tim. :)

Actually, he found me. And that leads me to believe that what I saw was more real than if I had gone searching for someone. There was no money involved, no sex, nothing. Just two people talking and learning. It was really cool at first. We sat on the sofa facing one another. He just talked and told me to remember as far back as I could. Save that image and think about what it means. I found myself sitting on a mountain that I couldn't recognize. There were trees with some weird fruit, sheep, and fog. Before I could figure out where I had seen this before, he told me....It's Spain. The western coast near the French border. He didn't know that I had ever been to Spain. He couldn't have. We were total strangers. As the image unfolded in my mind, he told me what I was seeing just seconds after. It was like he was narrating the story but a few seconds late. Then he went to another one. I saw his face change into that of a small black child. I knew that I had done something to cause harm to the child. I didn't know what. He told me that it wasn't my fault and that it would have happened anyway. Apparently, the child died early in his life. I owned him at some point. When he told me I wasn't to blame, it felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off my shoulders. Another one found me in some kind of encampment where I was dressed in rags looking for food.

The whole time, David sat there and narrated what I was seeing. I wish I had video taped it. He also showed me how to read auras and watch for shifts in them when people are lying. There's only been 2 people that I haven't been able to get a "vibe" on. One was the last ex. The other was my best friend in college. Neither seemed to produce the lights that encompass all the other people I meet.

I told the new beau one night while we were lying in bed that his aura was very clean and bright and crisp. He thought I was joking. Then I was able to run my hands across his chest and stomach and make him feel what I was feeling. Passing energies from one person to another. He found it mildly arousing, but at the same time, I think I was able to express to him what he means to me without words. Things moved along quite well after that night.

As for the past lives thing, deja vu is said to be a version of a past life. When I learned Spanish, it wasn't so much that I learned new words, but felt more like I was remembering things. Once surrounded by it in Spain, I felt like I could understand more than I should have been able to. Speaking and writing were problematic at times, but recognition of words and phrases came easy.

It's all about experieences for me. Nothing that I was taught or coerced into doing. Just simple tricks of the mind (remember, we only use a small percentage of our brains - what else might be stored in there?).

    Wow. :saywhat:

Sounds like an incredible experience. Did you drink it all in at once, or did it take you a while to 'digest' it?

It took a lot of time. I thought about it a lot trying to discredit it somehow. Tried to remember if they were my thoughts or if he was just playing off my expressions, thoughts, etc. But in the end I came to the conclusion that what had happened was not a normal occurence. He said that I had a gift that few people he had met had. He told me of all the spirits that I had seen and had talked to him. He knew about a ghost I had seen in an apartment I had lived in. He knew that I had protectors looking out for me.

I did a little more research and started paying more attention to my dejavu moments. I try now to capture exactly what it is that's causing it instead of just letting it go.

The last time we had dinner, were you able to see my aura giving you the finger?

Honestly, I don't try often to see those sorts of things. I know people based on their actions. You are a dick. You have a lovely wife and a beautiful home, though.
