    FRIDAY APRIL 1ST ENTRY

    Hey all....just got back to the hotel after the 10 pm show....what a faciklity this place is.

    After seeing it for football, this place is massive for hoops. They are using the end of the field (for football) where Smitty scored the winning TD in the playoffs, but the place looks like a great site to watch hoops, albeit from a distance in some spots.

    The practices were very well attended, mostly Illinois fans in the house. They support their Illini well, and booed UNC when they took the floor. No doubt this Final Four has a decidedly midwestern feel to it, and UNC is the uninvited guest. Too bad they are likely to take the trophy with them on their way out of town.

    Have yet to play hold em poker at the casino boat--might play tomorrow in the afternoon since we have nothing to do early, just cover the game tomorrow night--if you have News 14, please check us out after the game--live stuff from STL, Franklin St., etc. Should be pretty good stuff.

    May not have an update for you after the game, but since they should advance to Mondays final, I hope to do more before the title game.

    But I'm stll gonna be wearing one of these tonight at Buffaloes just to piss off all the Carolina fans. Sure, I'll get laughed at when the games over, but it will still be fun.
