A little perspective

Oh, please. You guys exemplified supporting losers the last 4 years. You know, the last 4 years we were playing in bowl games. Talk about annoying.

You guys didn't have a 3rd place parade? How dreadful!

 

Last 4 years?? Last year the Tar Heels finished with a .500 record. The two years before that were poor, but the year before those which would have been (1 of 4) they were in a Bowl game. That was Pepper's last year there. So we're talking 2 Bowl games in 4 years. Is that great? Hell no, but that doesn't make you a dook level horrible team.

 

Yeah, I still have faith in the football team despite a dissapointing season. We lost 6 games and gave away 5 of them. Hell we almost gave away two more with Wake and Va Tech. Chuck Amato still did a fantastic job of recruiting, again having the best class in the State ahead of Duke, UNC-Ch and Wake in that order. There's still hope there with the football team.
Basketball is a different story, no state fan can have much to say about our team because the leadership and crappy play has lead to apathy in which we could care less if we win another game this year or not. Kinda like it was at UNC-Ch when Doh was there, remember that.:xyzthumbs

Take your pick. Maybe WOSSA or Derf Fuckhead or Jersey Heel asshole or whomever can provide me a link of YOUR version of what happened that day. There was no parade, just a motorcade to take the team to their celebration. Do you guys have Christmas motorcade's or 4th of July motorcades or Gay rights motorcades in Chapel Hill?? Sorry but there is a huge difference between a parade and motorcade. Sure its small but just another example of UNC fans lying at its best.

I'll have to give this post a big:xyzthumbs Dead on and very accurate. I was in Raleigh for that and it was no parade. Just a little celebration for NC State winning the most games in school history (11) and closing off the season with beating F$U at home and DESTROYING a heavily favored and "better" Notre Dame team.
