I was up in Toronto last Wed for the BlueJays/Orioles game. I had pretty good seats down the 1st base line near the foul pole (2nd row from the field   !!!!). There were tons of kids there for the Wed. afternoon game (Footnote: Canadian Kids go to school for 1 extra month vs. American kids, so they only get 8 weeks for summer off) checking out the game with their summer school groups. After the game, folks were calling into the local Sportstalk outlet talking about how Ron Holladay should've stayed in the game vs. being pulled (when he got pulled, he just dumped the ball on the mound vs. giving the ball to the manager). Fans think Jays manager is too quick to pull the plug on his starters and bringing in their closer to finish the game (but then again, they have no middle relief). The first photo in this group was from the day before taken from the top of the CN Tower :) . . .

On the long way back to Charlotte, I stopped in Pittsburgh by the waterfront and piddled around for a couple of hours. Took some photos of the waterfront, HEINZ Field, & PNC Park. I got there too late to take a tour of the ballpark, but I did get to have dinner at the Outback Steakhouse which overlooks left field under the scoreboard. On game days, the waitress told me that they allow folks to dine for 1 hour if they come in while the game is in progress.

Here's another one . . . The Andy Warhol Museum is right down the street from PNC & Heinz, but due to the time I had to skip checking it out this time (I didn't get home until 3:30am Friday morning!!!!!!)

Went to PNC Park in June of 01 for a game against the Phillies with my brother and grandfather. Beautiful park. At the time Heinz was being constructed. Funny that you mention the Warhol Museum, we went to that before the game. Not much on art, but Warhol was an interesting character. The museum is in an old warehouse that is about 7 stories high. I recommend it. The walk along the Allegheny outside right field is quite an experience as well.

The bar across the street is one of my favorites. The name escapes me but it was owned by an old boxer.
