Lynn Swann was a ballet dancer. I do not know how he knows they can not play his stuff but he is probably right because Winger's stuff is a lot more complicated than Mettalica's.

    Interesting

Not sure about that one though. The layering in Metallica's stuff, especially the ....And Justice for All album was amazing. I tried to play some of Hammetts riffs and just couldn't. I grew up with Metallica so maybe I'm just a bit biased. Now we can talk Randy Rhoads and there's no comparison.

Go buy Winger's last album "Pull" (you should be able to get it really cheap if you can find it) and you will know what I am talking about. Most people have only heard a couple of Winger songs and that was fifteen years ago. I like thier first album the best but thier last one has the best guitar work. They only had three albums and they are all pretty good but the middle one "Heart of the Young" is not on par with the other two.

People make a lot of fun of them but in reality they were a very good band. Back in the day I thought they looked less girly than most bands. Kip actually had stubble and did not wear loads of make up. The reason they are the band on Stewart's Tshirt is that they came along towards the end of the hair metal days and Kip was selling the pretty boy stuff.

Hell Yea!! It took me forever to play that right. I probably couldn't even remember how to start it now. I loved to try and play Mr. Crowley but as with most of his stuff, I didn't stand a chance. Better than EVH in my opinion.

    An old childhood joke:

    Knock Knock

    Whos There

    Ace

    Ace who?

THE ACE OF SPADES, THE ACE OF SPADES.

we used to do nuts giving the punchline, heavy metal style. You had to be there i guess.

Now thats just wrong putting Bowie in that category. I guess Ziggy Stardust was kinda glam, but that was more a kinda androgenous/alien type phase.

While everyone around me was having their AC/DC Iron Maiden feuds i was rocking to Bowie. 7-8 years later they were all into the Bowie scene.
