86 I can't be specific because I don't know all the details. kpigout's son had an operation a couple of weeks ago where they did some type of hip surgery and is in a full body cast. They also cut his hamstrings so they would heal properly with this surgery. I think the surgery went okay but this kid has been through a lot and his family has too.

No, this doesn't have a single thing to do with UNC Charlotte or the University of Memphis. However I hope fans of any and all schools would have a little bit of compassion and prayer for this child as well as his family. They all have been through a great deal.

    God bless the child....

HP, I don't think that any words could have better described how we all feel about Kpig and his family......

Thanks for the info and you are ABSOLUTELY right.

KPig..........we not know each other but there is no question that I will take a moment of prayer for you and your family. Schools may "talk trash" about each other but this is another level entirely.

I have a 7 & 10 year old & it doesn't matter what it is............it's just thrilling to be a part of their growing up.

Best wishes to you & your family.

Thanks HP, and all of the others with their well wishes and prayers. My boy is doing very well considering what he has gone through. He's a hell of alot tougher than me. Here's a pic for y'all.

I'll say a prayer for your son and family kpig.

Thank God that kids are as tough as they are - they just deal with things without whining and feeling sory for themselves. It's one of the reasons they recover quickly.

That is great news that he is doing well Kpig!

Nice touch posting him in a Memphis shirt by the way. :D

Does anyone here have the ability to work through one of the CUSA athletic depts. and maybe get Kpig's kid out to a game to meet the players, get autographs, generally be allowed to forget all of the shit he has had to go through? Just a thought.

    LOL !!! Thanks , but he is a Tiger's fan .:D

It's hard to do so living so far away from Memphis, but whenever we are able to get there, he is well taken care of.

Here's one more pic, in a Texas shirt.;)
