Is this guy the real deal? I like some of his stuff. I realize he is being coached and put out there as the next big thing by Slim Shady/Aftermath label, but his style of rap is kinda unique.

Superb role model and a true artist; glad he's being promoted.

 

he's got the stuff. Don't buy into that shit where he's being coached, most of his really hype shit is off bootleg that they're releasing. Not saying he isn't raw, but a producer who guides you can only guide what's there.

I met him out at WKZL one time when my woman was voice tracking. Sorta, anyway. I said "what's up fitty" to him through his big assed entourage - 8 people total, three cars. He was supposed to show up around 3 or 4 and ended up showing at 11, when we were there.

 

No need to worry about him tarnishing the gangster rap image for Dre and M&M. This dudes a freak'n thug. Good rapper though. GRODT is a kickass debut.
