i was gonna post that this morning. but since you have, look at all the people who have addressed this point since you posted it on the board. um, nobody.

secondly, fever, you are an idiot. the clock operator (CAROLINA GRAD) didn't start the clock when the ball was stolen. so, for there to be ANY conspiracy here, he would have HAD to known the clemspson player was gonna score. had they missed, this would have totally benefitted them. i'm not changing shit, it's the same scenario only with the losing team missing and getting the extra shot because of the timing error. shit happens, but clempson knew they had 4.4 seconds and couldn't stop duke going full court. like sly said, it's a wash, both teams got their opportunity with the timing error.

 

Wow, an article that actually says the clock not starting benefited dook and not clemson as some dookettes seem to think it's the other way around on here, imagine that.

 

What most dookettes want to focus in now is that the clock operator was a UNC Grad, but you know the clock operator had nothing to do with the decision the dook refs made.

Let's just use the actual facts of this situation, it benefited DOOK as this current situation happened. You can say I see it one way because I am an UNC fan, that's fine, I tend to agree with the sports press as well, not just a few of them. i've said from the beginning that duke got the 1 out of 100 fortune. But, both teams got the extra time and clempson blew it. If you're too stupid to understand that the winning team NEVER wants the clock to be stopped like that, then you need more help than a message board can give you.

And, in the refs defense, they probably assumed that the clock was running normally. they probably rewound the replay to the point that the ball left the net and put that time on the clock. i did that the first time a watched the replay on the dvr, and that was the EXACT time it went through. I noticed the clock stopped on the 5 seconds the second time i watched the replay.

god, it would be great for the same thing to happen in chapel hill with duke benefitting off a missed shot, getting the rebound and tying or winning.
