    I'm a sucker for all this hype... I'm thinking of getting one soon. Do you think the ATT stores will have it available this week? I hate going to the Apple store at SP... way to fucking trendy.

    Apple and AT&T can't get their shit together. Everytime they release a fix it fucks the phone up worse.

    These things are kind of pieces of shit. This idea that Apple makes reliable products is an amazing hoax.



    If you own one, ignore the updates. They will fuck you up.

    Also, I'm damn positive they slowed down the Edge network to make the 3G seem faster after all the complaints about the 3G. They used to be basically the same but now the Edge is just slower instead of fixing 3G.

    being an Apple guy... I just went with Sprint's Samsung Instinct

    I'll prob get an iPod touch for $229,

    but the Sprint seem to have the better plan. 450 minutes, unlimited data, gps, live tv, radio, etc... $69.99 and the phone is only $129 after rebates...

    My Samsung was free with Suncom, whatever that's worth in this conversation. It's got a camera, all the normal phone frills, internet and text accessibility.

    Guy who works for me got one from sprint. He likes it. Had a little trouble getting his email but other than that seems to work really well.

    I've had my iPhone 3G for a couple weeks now and love it. I'm lucky to live 300 yrds from an AT&T tower.

    I'm elligable for an upgrade in February. I'm holding out hope for a 32GB iPhone by then.
