I've been offered free tickets well over 20 times and I have been once....this year. Most people I know feel the same way. Has nothing to do with racism or the team being good, I just hate the NBA "product".

That may be the case, but Charlotte isn't anymore of a racist city than any other its size or larger for the norm. Not really sure how you would measure something like that other than personal opinion from situations you have encountered. Actually I have seen the opposite in some cases, I know from personal experience in dealing with people when I lived in Spokane, WA, it was a lot worse there than here.

And that very well may be the problem, but I think it would be the same problem no matter where.

Yeah there's that too. The entitlement attitude the NBA has had since it returned in this market is kind of perplexing. To see it from the ownership group is disheartening.

Ive been offered tickets also but Ive turned them all down. I wouldnt go if the 12 months of playboy playmates were sitting with me....well, maybe Id go if that were the case.

The product just flat out stinks

Ironically this has been their most talented team, yet it's gotten blown out more than any other Bobcat team too. That said, they went 21-20 at home this year, so the signs of improvement are there. The Hornets went to the playoffs the year after they had their first home winning season. Of course, they also got Alonzo Mourning in the draft that year..

Well right now they have a 2.8% chance to get the first pic in the draft. MB wouldn't be bad for a first pic.

I don't even dare to dream. I'm just excited to think we'll have a shot at two real nba center prospects in Love and Hibbert. We should get a player this year no matter what, which is exactly what we needed. Making the playoffs this year would have been unfortunate for our overall talent. We're not like Atlanta where we have 10 years of lottery picks, we've only had 5 in four years, and two were out the whole year. We needed another pick, and that's what we'll get.

Now we need a coach :)
