    It's virtually impossible to be this bad in the NFL for six consecutive years, as this league does everything it can to make bad teams competitive. Only the Jets have a worse record since 2018 (29-66) but they openly tanked during one of those seasons, so Tepper's Panthers are just one game ahead of a team that took a year off. Meanwhile the other teams near the bottom of the six year standings (Jacksonville, NYG, ARI, DET) have either made the playoffs or finished above .500 during that stretch.
