    The 2k game will be unlicensed, they aren't sure if they are going to have fake players or perhaps try and sign some legends. It's a sure bet that the game editor will be robust so users can "make" NFL teams.

    I'm sure they'll find a way to edit player names into the game, but I'm sure you can't do anything about the fake stadiums and jerseys.

    It's a shame. I was really warming up to the 2k series, and I'll still play 2k5 & 2k4 every so often.

    Madden 2007 surpassed NCAA 2004 as the best football game ever made. I have no idea why some dumb people think it was trash.

    it is trash on 360. complete trash. i've been playing madden since like 93 on sega genesis and i was excited about reading about the 2k game.

    No, it's great on the 360. It's the best looking game yet, the players react far more realistically than in any other game, the presentation is top notch, and the gameplay is very sound.

    That's the first positive impression I've ever read of next gen Madden.

    Madden 07 on the xbox/wii is the shit though. Hopefully they can harness the new graphics engine and actually make it look and play like real football on the PS3/360.

    I've read lots of regular folks criticize it, although I have no idea why. I've played both the PS2 and the 360 versions and the 360 version blows it away graphically. I'm sure it will get better as they get more familiar with the hardware, but it already looks great. Maybe people just expected too much too soon.
