-Back at CTU, inside Salazar mole Al throws a monkey wrench into the computer system, slowing down Kim & _________ to find the license plate on the truck that Kyle was in. Kim walks in while he's working on it, but she doesn't suspect he's a mole. Someone higher up is asking Michelle via the phone if she knows if Jack is still working for them or not, but she says shes not sure (she then tells Chloe whats going on). Michelle then calls to see how Tony is doing in surgery, but no word yet . . She calls someone to upload a videolink to the operating room he is in (that's cool . . I wonder how much she is going to get charged :D :D !!!!!!). I'll bet you something dramatic is going to happen while she is peeking in, watch ;) . . .

-Chase is with some riot police to get to the room where the hostages (with Jack, Salazar, and others) are at. Meanwhile, a 2nd round of RUSSIAN ROULETTE is about to start (Salazar gets picked by M.P.T). Jack tells him he is a federal agent . . He pulls the trigger, he wins  . . Salazar pulls the trigger and . . He wins :) !!!!! Jack gets ready for his '2nd shot' . . Jack shoots M.P.T with the gun right as the Riot Police & Chase bust in via a blown hole in a side wall (C4 rocks :D :D !!!!) . . Chase shouts for Jack, but no response . . WHere are U Jack  ? ?

-Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh, Chloe finds some vials in Jacks drawer back at CTU . . maybe she is adding 1+1  . . . Looks like she is about to blow the whistle on Jack

-Meanwhile, bact at the debate, Prez Palmer's opponent drops the bombshell about Ann's fabricating drug reports, and Prez Palmer denied that he knew about it

-Chloe finds out that vials in Jack's office tested positive, and Kim sees her in the office (Chloe said she was looking for something to explain what is going on w/Jack). Chloe finally tells Kim that he thinks Jack is using drugs. Chloe then tells Michelle what she found. ________ then announces they think they've zeroed in on Kyle & Sweethings location in Modesto . .

-Back at the prison, Jack & Salazar get ready to make their way out of the prison. But how are they going to do it with all them cops around the area  ? ?

-Michelle calls Adam (that's his name :D :D . . Kim's cube mate) and ask her to do something (I missed it :( . ) but sees she's not in a good mood (I think it was to nail down which warehouse Kyle is in)

-Chase & Kyle are in a MEXICAN showdown now in a parking lot at the prison; He needs the chopper now to take Salazar to the drop off point. Chase tells the warden that he needs his gurads to stand down

-Meanwhile, CTU Agents find the place where Kyle & Sweething are held up at   . . Uh oh, Michelle calls Chase and tells them they've found Kyle, but the chopper is already in the air :( :( !!!!!

-Awwwwwwwww hell, Jack does a PSA about proper gun use at the end of the episode . . Ohhhhhhhhhh vey   !!!! Man, I was really hoping to play some Russian Roulette later on tonight

NEXT WEEK: Looks like Prez Palmer has to say whether or not the ARmy can shoot down the copter Jack & Salazar have escaped in right in the middle of the debate right as his opponent asked him a question about economic policies (man, that ain't cool   !!!!!!!)

From the Matt dude on TVGuide.com:

    Question:
I have a theory about why 24 has dropped in the ratings during the current season. At the end of season one, they surprised us by killing off Teri, Jack's wife. They let us know that anyone was expendable, and this was exciting for viewers. Yet after the brilliant surprise of Palmer being poisoned in last season's finale, here he is, alive and well. There was no consequence. He should have died. — Chris

    Matt:
An interesting, and I'm sure debatable, point. This season, I feel the Palmer scenes are dragging the show down more than usual. I like the actor, but if Palmer were any more impossibly noble, he could qualify for sainthood. I couldn't care less about the debate, about the blackmail demands over his doctor girlfriend, the duplicity of Palmer's brother, etc. These scenes can be even more deadly than Kim interrupting the action to obsess on her love life. Now that you've brought it up, I'm thinking I might have been more impressed with the show if everyone this season was operating in the long shadow of Palmer's assassination, not just an attempt. But who knows if the writers aren't planning a big twist involving Palmer's current state of health? I'm hopeful. As for expendable characters, I certainly didn't predict Tony getting shot in the neck and critically wounded. (Given that 24 takes place over just one day, I can't imagine we'll see Tony back in action before next season, if then.) 24 has gotten off to an uneven start this season, but I'm still hooked. As for the ratings: Keep in mind that 24 kicks off every year into the teeth of a sweeps month, and right now, Fox is using repeat episodes of sitcoms as a lead-in. When American Idol returns to Fox in January, I'm betting 24's numbers will improve.
