And Kim is definitely NOT gay.

And whatshername seems to be even hotter as Almeada's wife, although the low-cut, short-skirted outfit helps.

And Jack needs to get back with Miss Lovely Lips.

Kim - too many clothes.

 

Jack being a junkie was a very nice twist, in my opinion. It usually takes a few episodes to get deeply into it, but they did a decent job of filling in the 3-year gap. Obviously, there will be issues with Jack wanting and probably shooting up at some point during the day. Also, Palmer's health will be a big issue this season.

As usual, I am hooked.

 

24: Season 3-Episode 1 Review

Just watched the tape and man, it was good!!!!! Jack got ambushed at home by some thugs (German it sounded like) and he was forced to deliver a package to Langely within an hour or else. A microchip was implanted in him to follow his progress . . .



Ooooooops, this was the F-150 Truck commercial at the start and end of the show . . . My bad !!!!!!!!


1) Mexicans are the bad guys this time; They've come up with some virus that kills anyone in 24 hours (they dropped a test package off at CTU(?) HQ's. They will release it to the general public unless . .

2) The release Salazar, big time drug king pin with terrorist ties. He kills his lawyer in jail with a pen (smooth move BTW :thumbup: !!!!!!!!) when he was getting ready to sign his plea bargin agreement. He tells Jack that what happens next is going to be on him. Before the killing, he talks about what Jack went thru for a year (I'm sure Jack was his prisoner sometime after the President's assisnation attempt in another case; I'm sure more details on this will come out eventually in the weeks to come). It seems like Jack is going thru some physical problems (he gets quickly agitated, seems run down sometimes, etc.)


3) Thing broke off between him and Kate; She makes a brief appearence in a phone call about his missing leather jacket. I'm sure they will meet again sometime down the road


4) Kim, who is now a CTU computer operator ( I would like to have this job !!!!!!!) doesn't get along with her cube mate _____________; he thinks she got her job only because of her dad (duh !!!!!!!) but it seems like she understands what she is doing (she blocked his access to a file he needed to get)


5) Prez Palmer's health is still questionable; He's at USC to prepare for a presidental debate. Seems like him and his doctor have something going on (but for next weeks episode, something is going to come up that will put Ann in a bad light).


6) Jack's a junkie due to the stuff Salazar did to him when he was 'detained' for a year (again, I'm sure more on this will come out eventually in the weeks to come). At the end of the episode, he fights off 'shooting up' right when his daughter Kim called wanting to talk to him. That's the way to fight it Jack :thumbup: !!!!!!


7) Some unsuspecting kid went down to Tijuana to pick up the bag of coke that is infected with the virus. Salazar's brother _______________ has someone watching him to see what happens to him/makes sure he makes the delivery (he's getting 5K to make the delivery, along with the 5k he earned for the pickup).



8) Tony and his new bribe ____________ things are going good. It looks like Tony is up for a possible promotion, but he won't go unless the Feds make room for his wife also . . .



That's the review yall . . . I think I hit all the main things . . WHo am I kidding, I know I forgot something and I will be corrected on it in a few mins. !!!!!

ARE THEY LEGAL? BTW, AS SOMEONE OF MEXICAN DESCENT, SALAZAR IS REALLY PORUTGUESE AND HIS BROTHER, HECTOR, SOUNDED PUERTO RICAN. (AND IF THE U.S. DEPORT ANYMORE ALIENS, LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, HELLO MR. VIRUS).

I think this season premier was better than last season's premier. It's looking good so far, except I still don't buy Kim as an agent, or techie, or whatever.

 

Look, people: a lot can happen in three years. I mean, we know Dukey is a real person now, right?
