24 - Season III

4/20 Episode of '24'

LAST WEEK . . .


1) Michelle & CTU tried to find a guy who had a one night stand with a girl at the infected Condo Complex and left the building before the site was secured. They identified him and they are proceeding to his house (the guys wife is going to be pissed about this !!!!!!)


2) CTU thought they had the location of Saunders (Virus Dude) nailed down by analyzing his bank records so Chase & Co. zeroed in on his location, but it was empty (Saunders is using scramblers to prevent being located)


3) Michelle gets the green light to start handing out cyanide pills to the folks in the Condo Complex who want to kill themselves before the virus does . .


4) with the attempt to capture Saunders failiing, Jack has no choice but to kill Ryan (FBI Dude) out by the dock per Saunders order . .


THIS WEEK:


-The bad guys pick up Ryan's body and warn Jack not to follow him, for the obvious reasons


-Tony & CTU find out Saunders has a daughter going to school in Santa Barbara. They then scramble to find a look alike of her daughter to possible blackmail Saunders . . Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, who will the choose ? ? ? Tony is then given some information on the whereabouts on the infected guy (he had just left home for work) . .


-Chloe gives Tony a list of agents who could possibly sub for Saunders daughter . . The nearest agent is in SF . . . She then gives him a secondary list . . Surprise surprise, its Kim!!! Tony tells her what's going on and what she needs to do and she says yes . . Certainly Jack isn't going to like this . . ..


COMMERCIAL BREAK #1

 

-Chloe & Kim chat about her upcoming field job . . . Chloe tries to talk her out of it, but Kim decides to go ahead with it . .


-CTU agents talk to the lady who's husband was infected with the virus . . . She obviously doesn't take the news very well that her hubby wasn't with a client last night . .


-Jack confronts Tony about using Kim in the Saunders operation and they get into a brief shoving match . . . Kim & Jack argue about her involvement in the operation . . . It looks like Kim will go thru with it . .


COMMERCIAL BREAK #2

 

-Kim is given final instructions from Dad before she leaves to get ready for her sting operation . . . Jack gives her a gun and tells her don't hesitate to use it if necessary . . I hope she was taking notes on this . . . .


-David & the Prez. discuss with the Joints Chief of Staff on the current virus status . . . Meanwhile, Tony tells the CTU staff that Ryan Chapelle was KIA (but doesn't tell them how or why). Chase then calls back and lets him know that Kim is going out into the field, which obviously pisses him off (the infected guy's wife is being placed in isolation and taken to the hospital)



-Great , the infected guy walks into a hospital to get treatment . . . The nurse then quickly realizes that he is the one that needs to be found and tells a doctor. Boy, the hospital is about to turn into one massive morgue it looks like . . .


COMMERCIAL BREAK #3

 

-Saunders anticipates CTU trying to nab his daughter, so he tells his thugs to keep their eyes on her. Meanwhile, he gives the Prez. another call. He goes into a long speech about how America is the bad guy, the industrial complex must be brought down, and he wants the list of all CTU agents (?) working in foregin countries in 45 mins. or he will release the virus in 2 cities


-Kim & Jack arrive and are brief on Saunders daughters whereabouts (she is near the library where she works). Tony calls Chase and tells him they found the infected guy at a hospital (in Santa Monica ? ? ).



-Kim is prepped to make her look like Jennine (?) Saunders daughter . . Hmmmmm, it looks good but will it be enough to fool Saunders ? We shall see . .


COMMERCIAL BREAK #4

 

-Chase interviews the infected virus dude on how many folks he came in contact with . . . Obviously, he can't remember . .


-Meanwhile, the real Janine Saunders is apprehended in a ladies bathroom at the UCSB Library (an 'agent' accidently spills water on her and Janine goes to clean herself up in the bathroom, where she is apprehended by CTU . . Pretty slick :thumbup: :thumbup: !!!!). Kim then assumes her position at the Library help desk . .



-Tony goes over with the CTU Crew over the virus dudes whereabouts before he was caught at the hospital . . They initiate a plan to try and apprenhend all of these folks before the get into the general population too much and infect everybody


-Jack starts to interrogate Janine . . She relucantly talks about her 'distant' relationship with her Dad (she says she only meets a couple of times a year). Jack thinks shes lying, but then she is told about a guy at the reference desk (a possible Saunders thug protecting her? ) wanting to get her attention (CTU has been watching him since they got there). She is told to make their way into the reference desk. Oooops, another one of Saunders 'thugs' nabbed her and she is held at gun point. Damn, Kim is in trouble again !!!!!! Jack runs outside to catcch her and the thug and before he can get there . . . Kim shoots and kills him . . . You go Kim !!!!! But does Saunders know her daughter has been kidnapped ? ? ?


NEXT WEEK: Is Michelle infected with the virus? CTU zeros in on Saunders location . . . It looks like Jack gives Saunders a call (or Saunders calles the Prez again the call is forwarded) and he finds out Janine is being held by Jack . . Who will blink first? We shall see . .

 

this episode was slow and lame. It was nowhere near as good as last week, the action just wasn't there. Once again, they used Kim in a pointless role.

 

Did she do any running towards the camera?

 

nope..

 

Then I agree. She was in a pointless role.

 

4/27 Episode of '24'

-Tony & everybody (and I do mean, everybody!!!!) at the CTU office look at some data on the current outbreak of the virus in the LA area . . . If this baby doesn't get contained, its going to get really bad, really quick . . Tony tells the group he knows they are tired, but they are going to have to find the energy to help get the virus contained


-David & Prez. Palmer discuss what to do next when Saunders calls with his list of demands . . . They wonder if they should hand over their spy list to him O-R not . . They decide to wait for Jack to call back (Who as we speak is talking to his daughter trying to figure out where he is at )

-Saunders is told the CIA is trying to nail down his location, but no luck yet . . . Prez. Palmer has 15 mins. left to hand over the European Spy list


-Jack & Saunders daughter talk about why his dad is on the run, the last time she's talked to him, yada, yada . . Jack shows her the footage of the folks dying of the virus in the Condo to show her what's going to happen to other folks if she doesn't help them find her Dad. She then tells him she has a phone number to call if she ever gets in trouble . .


-Talking about the Condo, things are getting worse . . . . . More folks are being quarantined . . . She just gets word that her test results are back . . . I bet they are positive . . I hope she had her Life Insurance Policy updated !!!
