In fairness to Hurney they had to wait till after the draft or assbags like the Patriots (Merriweather) and Saints (Jamal Brown) would have hoped in front of us for Jarrett.

it's an odd strategy to deviate from. "we didn't do anything" morphs into "we're cutting back."

I was going to start another thread but I guess this sorta works here.

2010 - who is still on the roster?

Even cutting one of your main offensive weapons to make salary cap room to sign someone else would make sense, but there's no one left to sign. We're basically saying that cutting Keyshawn is addition by subtraction, and however irritating the man might be, that makes no sense on the field.

Peppers, Smith definitely. I'd be willing to guess Gross, whether on merit or not. Beason, Kalil, Jarrett, Johnson will probably still be on rookie contracts. Williams, the same.

We don't have all that much under contract for then. I can only guess the top three because the team seems willing to give each a fuckton of money to stay, probably part of the reserved nature to spend.

Doug Jolley has blown everywhere he went. Sucked in Oakland, NY and TB. I hope we don't get him. And besides we have some younger guys we'd like to go forward with. Just ask Keyshawn.

Moot point, but he did not suck in Oakland. I was a Raider fan back then.

At the end of the day you make a move to make your team better.... I've yet to figure out HOW IN THE FUCK THIS MAKES US BETTER??????

Does Hurney not remember a certain tweaked hammy last August that lingered into the damn regular season???? Oh my bad, Colbert is the answer.:banghead:
