Maybe they plan on taking him to a Ryan's buffet and convert him into a DT

I actually liked Pike from what I saw of him. Obviously, we think our passing game needed work.

No kidding - that's disappointing, they're expecting him to fail.

I don't know that I'd look at Edwards as a QB yet. The good news is that if Moore doesn't pan out, we have a lot of insurance.

Maybe Davidson has a new version of the Wildcat. It's called the Panther. You line up 5 QBs and 6 WRs and everyone goes deep.

One of these QBs will pan out.

This is by far our most interesting draft.

I think it's better to be prepared in case he does. If you're starting a team is Matt Moore your starter by choice? In the past years, we've kind of assumed Delhomme was the man. Look at what happened on the year he got injured and the year he tanked. I like Moore, but we desperately need quality depth behind him.

I mean, fair enough that's another cheap backup, and very good for value, but I didn't see the need.

Everyone so far has been in the passing game, whether throwing, catching, rushing.

Well Hurney is always saying how we take the best available player available so obviously Pike was it! He was the best player out there at 204th pick.

ditto, with 3 QB's already that's enough depth. Instead, now we have 4, possibly 5.
