I agree that it's a bad trade for LA but that doesn't mean Carolina got over. The Rams are good. That second rounder will be a late second rounder and the Panthers will surely find a way to waste it anyway.

 

You mean, like trade that second rounder for every final pick of the NFL Draft the Jets franchise ever gets?
I could see Tepper playing that scenario as a win.

 

On the flip side, Jim Harbaugh's first Chargers draft is predictably awesome. Their GM comes from Baltimore. No surprise. It's a football team run by football people. Take the BPA and let other teams fuck themselves over with desperate trades.

You got the immitation version. Wallace will be an early fan favorite because he can run fast and hit people, but he's completely useless on passing downs unless he's moving forward. He's a little bit like Chinn minus the position versatility.

 

I think the reason I've always loved Jim Harbaugh is because he's a jock who's also smarter than the nerds. He can stuff you inside of your locker while also having a much higher GPA. In other words, he's an apex predator. The Twitter football nerds panicked when the Chargers passed on a receiver at 5. Now they have an elite offensive line with a #1 WR. They have both, you stupid pencildicks.
