2022 QB Draft Class

He's brutal, which is why I find him fun to read even when he's being stupid. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, and Trey Lance are all busts, Taylor Heineke is for real, and Mahomes has been ruined by concussions. Fun stuff...

 

Any one have any thoughts on the sophomore QB at Miss St., Will Rodgers?

 

Is he draft eligible this spring? I haven't seen a lot of buzz about him on draft sites.

 

He's a sophomore this year, so I'm not sure.
I was mainly concerned about skeletons in the closet.
You know, the "he shot a man just for snoring"/"drugs" type stuff.
He seems poised, accurate, productive. The main complaint seems to be his his hesitation to scramble.

 

If you throw out the bottom feeders on Pitt's schedule, Pickett looks more like a career game manager than a future superstar. He wasn't even that good against UNC and they suck asscheese at playing defense.


Quarterbacks are going to be overrated and overdrafted from now until kingdom come. That's just the world that we inhabit in 2021.

 

Yeah, but 2017 was supposed to be a weak draft class for QBs too, so who knows?

I'm wondering if Devin Leary at State could be a sneaky good pick later in the draft. I like QBs who come alive in the last two minutes of a half.

 

Did 2017 turn out to be strong? There's two starting quarterbacks from '17. One of them is playing poorly right now and the other has sexually assaulted his way to the inactive list.

 

I notice Virginia not having Brennan under center made a huge difference for them.

 

Bailey Zappe reminds me of Zach Wilson, which may or may not be a good thing. Not sure if he's coming out or not.
