So I watched a few minutes of the second half of a Hornets summer league game with the Trailblazers.
They had some flashes. Bouknight was 7 of 14. Gelo Ball made some outside shots.
Post defense still sucked, but the killer was...
the 21 TOs.
I've seen more control and less wildness at the local rec center on a Saturday night.
Why does everyone think they can pass like Pistol Pete? Just stop.
The Blazers had this guy Antonio Blakeney had 20 straight in the second half and ended up with 27.
Kai Jones had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets.
The score was 93-86 Portland, but the lead was only 2 with 2 minutes left to play, but TOs raised their ugly heads.

Tonight's game.
One Hornet has made more than one basket in the first half.
Couple that with 14 first half TOs and it's amazing they're only down by 4 at the half.
I don't know what the coach is emphasizing, but it ain't floor discipline.

They lost by 10 and had 22 TOs. 0-2 in the fantastic summer league action. LOL

that can't be right. a dude who's made a few million dollars in his career can't possibly be asked to pay nearly $50 million. somebody is making shit up.

 

With his salary, 25k per month is probably more on scale.
