Hayward gonna be missing extended time again with an injury. He's not Greg Oden cursed, but close enough if you're a Hornets' fan. I doubt he plays again the season.

Damn the Hornets are headed in the wrong direction. A six game losing streak that includes a homestand.
Not hitting shots. Watching them shoot 3s last night was painful.
No one wants to really take the shot. No confidence from the vast majority on the team.
Their losing streak has the losses with an average of 11 points. A couple were close, but most were not.
How much of this falls on the owner's or GM's shoulders?
I wonder if Jordan told Kupchak to keep the new young core in tact and don't be dangling any of them in trade scenarios?
Take the lumps while they are young.
No team would want an oft injured and expensive Hayward. You can't rely on a offensive challenged Plumlee. Those are two deals that have ended up being team millstones.
Watching the Hornets play last night against the Bulls and the Hornets didn't look the part of an NBA team.
Compared to the Bulls they look like a group that got together at the local rec center that night for a pickup game.
Yep, it looked like the Globetrotters against the Washington Generals.

oh shit. did the hornets really land montrezl harrell?

that could be big. if he's motivated to play, he's a solid contributor and the kind of guy who pushed teammates with his play.

Word on the street says yes...

in exchange for Vernon Carey and Ish Smith...

No Ish Smith means more minutes for Bouknight.

harden moved to philly for simmons and seth curry. there's others involved but those are the main pieces. also a couple picks go from philly to the nets. expectations are they'll use them to draft a shrink.

The perfect visual as to why the NBA Allstar game has been a joke forever.
Why play if this is your effort?

it's an exhibition game. nobody's looking to get hurt mid season so they're just putting on a show. not interesting to you? nobody will force you to watch it.

Melo looks to be on his way of setting a personal best today. He has 7 TOs at halftime.
I think this is the last regular season game today and, even though the Hornets are already at least in the play-in game, this game here could potentially put them as high as #8 instead of ending the season at #10.
They are playing at home to a team with a losing record, but they are trying to shit the bed.
