I know that I said I wouldn't mind drafting him, but the tolerance towards the Mixon pick is kind of disturbing.

Yeah. He has some versatility and can play tackle in a pinch, but he has the potential to be a dominant guard. I'm thinking there's no way they can resign both Norwell and Turner so it's a really nice pick. FWIW, I hope they resign Norwell first. Turner has the better name recognition but Norwell is the better player IMO.

I hated this pick. You had Basham on the board, and what really drove me nuts is they had two chances to draft Willis who I think will be dominant in two years. We just drafted Kony Ealy Jr, without the upside.

Aside from being Carolina Panthers draft picks, I don't see any similarities between Hall and Ealy. Ealy was a star college player who had questionable athletic traits for the NFL, while Hall is more of the "upside" pick who could become excellent, or could become Demontre Moore. I also think Hall might be more at home as a 34 OLB. He has the size of a classic 43 left end, but has the traits more comparable to a Mario Addison. A&M periodically would try him as an interior player, but he usually ended up being overpowered. If we use more "odd" fronts under Wilks, he may carve out a nice early niche as a situational rusher. I think he needs a ton of work to become a full time 4-3 end, though. Right now he's a heat seaking missile lacking nuance.

Kelvin Benjamin is definitely not a heat seaking missile. He's an undersized TE who doesn't block.

I like Elder. Obviously his size is an issue but he has quickness, skills, and heart.

I like the Corn pick simply because it knocks Zach Sanchez off of the roster.
